Wellington 2010 - Me

I am a Kiwi woman in my fifties. I have always wanted to write, now I finally feel I have something to say. I have raised a child, been a member of the New Zealand feminist and anti-racism movements, studied at universities, polytechnics and the School of Life (aka the University of Hard Knocks), lived in city, small town and country, and generally spent years trying to figure out this strange old world we live in. In my late forties, I unexpectedly discovered the answer to the question of why I have never 'fit in' anywhere - I have Aspergers Syndrome, a condition at the 'higher functioning' end of the Autistic Spectrum. This was the start of a whole new journey, and I want to share what I have discovered with others; as well as explore other issues of interest to me, and get published. Thank you.
